P.7 Choir Visit Hillsborough Castle

We were so excited to be invited to sing at Hillsborough castle. First we went into a room and had juice, and then we went into the throne room to see where we were singing and did a quick rehearsal, before we went to have some biscuits and more juice. We then went to get some photographs taken, in front of the big Christmas tree, in the green room, with the Lord Lieutenant of Co. Down. The tree was great and the decorations were lovely. We then performed in front of lots of people. It was so much fun. Megan and Hannah read a passage from the bible each, they spoke it very clearly. Then Emma spoke her short introduction to the poem, and then she led it with Darragh, as student and teacher. It was a great opportunity to show our singing, acting and speaking abilities. Everyone really enjoyed this opportunity. If you get this opportunity you should take it.
