Library
In April 2012, the Library underwent a mammoth change. This was to accommodate a much desired and badly needed ICT suite. Major decisions had to be made with the result that the room was effectively divided in two halves.
One half was left in the bright, yet relaxing, environment the children have come to love and enjoy when visiting the library. It contains all of the fiction books of the library plus a selection of non-fiction books which live in the “dinosaur box”. This room is especially good for storytelling, silent reading and library skills. It is still known as the library.
The other half of the original library has become the new Nurture Room for some Learning Support and Lifeskills sessions.

We would like, on behalf of everyone who uses the library, to give a heart-warm thanks to the parents group who generously provided the funds to purchase the “dough-nut” stand of cushions, the slatwall displays for the end of the fiction shelves and a fabulous television/DVD combi. All of these resources have already been put to good use so thank you all very much.
