Santa's Grotto 2016
For the second year running, Bridge hosted a very special visitor on Friday evening, 9th December: SANTA!
Santa was in residence in his Grotto and was visited by many of our very excited pupils with their families. The evening was a huge success as many families enjoyed a very special visit and photograph taken with Santa. Activities such as face painting, story time with Mrs Claus, craft activities, a disco, food and drinks ensured that everyone had a great evening. The craft fair in the hall provided a wide variety of lovely gifts to tempt us and help us picks some Christmas gifts. Some beautiful creations from our own ECO club led by Mrs Davis and her team of budding ECO warriors alongside Mr Duggan's amazing snowman & crafts ensured we all had lots of crafts to choose from.
This event was organised by Mrs Roleston and BIPS Parents Group with support from the whole school staff and lots of dedicated parents who helped to ensure that this was a very special evening. It was a huge team effort and the smiles on the children's faces made all the hard work and planning really worthwhile.
A huge thank-you to everyone who helped out in any way; especially parent helpers and all staff. A very special thank-you has to given to our very talented Mr Duggan whose creative genius ensured that the magic of Christmas is very real and exciting in our school! We really appreciate all of our families for supporting this event. This very special evening certainly spread lots of festive spirit throughout the whole school community like a like bit of magic dust! It also raised over £2500, minus a few costs, which is absolutely amazing!
Here's hoping all of our children have made it onto the NICE list and that Santa brings lots of lovely presents. We hope that everyone has a very special and happy Christmas!
