Stone Age Workshop

P. 5 enjoyed a fun-filled interactive workshop on Stone Age Man.  They got to find out all about what stone age people would have worn and what weapons they had.  During the workshop they got to find out all about flint and how to find it. Children were able to explore artefacts, make pots using clay and discovered how weapons were made. They also had the experience of making the weapons themselves.  Children also enjoyed using twigs to build a protective wall used for shelter in Stone Age Times.  Pupils used different materials to discover how walls and tombs were made.
