Drop Everything and Read Day

On Friday 27th February pupils from P.1-7 all brought in old books that they had finished reading and swapped these with others in their class. Pupils enjoyed recommending their books to others and then choosing a new one to read. Mrs Devlin rang a special bell twice throughout the day to give pupils and staff the chance to stop whatever they were doing and simply enjoy reading.
The event proved to big a huge success and it was lovely to see so many children and adults throughout the school reading for pleasure!
